Marktech Optoelectronics has unveiled its latest portfolio of precision optoelectronic components, which are now available for purchase through Mouser Electronics. These include photodiodes and LEDs across a broad emission and detection range, from deep ultraviolet (UVC) to visible, and infrared (near, shortwave, and mid-wave infrared (NIR, SWIR, and MWIR). Designed for demanding environments in medical, industrial, aerospace, and environmental applications, these components offer enhanced reliability, sensitivity, and spectral response.
Deep UVC emitters (235–255nm) and solar-blind SiC photodiodes are ideal for sterilization systems, air and water disinfection units, and pathogen detection in clinical and lab settings. High-output packages support compact, high-intensity assemblies. Deep UVC emitters, as well as Si and SiC photodiodes, are critical components in water quality sensors.
Marktech’s near-infrared (NIR), short-wave infrared (SWIR), and visible emitters provide high signal stability for pulse oximeters, PPG-based wearables, ophthalmic instruments, and optical biosensors. Detectors optimized for 780nm to 950nm enable accurate absorption and reflectance monitoring for real-time health analytics. OEMS increasingly choose our InGaAS phototdiodes to detect lipids, proteins, alcohol, lactic acid, glucose, cholesterol, and other biomarkers.
Marktech’s MWIR and SWIR emitters and InGaAs detectors target gases like CO₂ and hydrocarbons, with spectral ranges up to 2600nm. These components are perfect for process control, air quality monitors, and spectroscopic analysis in industrial environments. Our MWIR and 2600nm SWIR LEDs are ideal for monitoring methane, carbon dioxide, and other process gases. 2200nm and 2300nm wavelengths are important in VOC monitors for combustion or chemical manufacturing process control. 1700nm light can also aid in methane and greenhouse gas emissions. NIR (970nm) and SWIR (1190nm, 1450nm, 1940nm, and 260nm) LEDs are also excellent at water and moisture sensing.
Marktech’s 15 mm² silicon photodiodes offer enhanced sensitivity and light collection for applications where low-light performance and wider beam detection are critical. Ideal for ambient light sensing, medical instrumentation, reflective object detection, and optical feedback systems. Marktech’s large active area detectors outperform smaller-area photodiodes in applications requiring higher signal strength or broader optical alignment tolerance.
