Marktech Optoelectronics, a leading designer and manufacturer of optoelectronic components and assemblies, is proud to announce the release of a new series of Mid-Wave Infrared (MWIR) LEDs in hermetically sealed TO-can packages. These next-generation emitters are engineered to meet the rigorous demands of gas sensing and chemical analysis in industrial environments.
Marktech’s MWIR LEDs are now available with peak wavelengths of 3100nm, 3700nm, 3900nm, 4100nm, and 4300nm, enabling precise detection of molecular absorption lines for a wide range of gases and chemical compounds. These wavelengths are ideal for applications in environmental monitoring, process control, emissions analysis, and industrial safety.
What sets this new line apart is its robust hermetic packaging, which ensures long-term performance and reliability—even under harsh operating conditions. The TO-can housing protects the sensitive emitter chip from moisture, dust, and corrosive agents commonly encountered in chemical plants, oil & gas refineries, and power generation facilities.
