Marktech Optoelectronics, illuminates tiny spaces with these miniature white LED light rings. The MTLR series was designed for hand held instrumentation, evenly illuminating surface area while also allowing space for a miniature detection camera to be passed through the center of the ring.
Utilizing highly efficient LED chips, this light ring can yield brightness values as high as 64 lumens at a drive current of just 75mA. The metal core board design can be driven at higher currents depending on the additional heat sinking provided within the application.
The MTLR-WZ Series with an outer diameter of .196”, utilizes six phosphor coated LED chips, which are available in Warm, Neutral and Cool color temperatures. An inner diameter hole located in the in the center of the ring measures .073” and can be used to pass a miniature camera through for detection of an evenly illuminated surface. Marktech can additionally design and manufacture custom light rings or arrays on ceramic, copper and AlN boards based upon the application needs.

Applications include analytical instruments for bio chemical, medical and scientific analysis, endoscopy and critical illumination. Marktech in addition offers wavelengths in the UV and IR ranges which can be incorporated into a multi-chip, multi-wavelength custom ring or array.
